I
enjoy talking to audiences large and small. Beginning with a brief reading
from a current work, I usually go on to speak about writing, the writing
life, creativity, or any special topic related to your group. I conclude
with a ten-minute Q/A. About 45 minutes total, which is about the time when
people really need to get out of their seats.
My
next book, When We Were the Kennedys: A Memoir from Mexico, Maine, is
due out from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt on July 10, 2012. I'll be updating a
calendar of events as things get booked.
